Oh MY GOD!!!!!! (so amazing it's too good even for acronyms!)Today I turned 18! That's right people I am LEGAL!!! Unfortunately my parents had to leave on their anniversary cruise early this morning cause it was the only time that their vacation time coincided. (My mother did give me my presents though and a delicious cake.) But at school it was a half day (always amazing) and we partied and watched movies the entire time. My boyfriend even gave me something today! (This may not sound to amazing to you all, but this is my first time dating anyone. So to me the whole concept is astounding)

Afterward when and I drove a friend home, her sister-who happens to be the one and only that I haven't seen since she graduated last year- was home! Much loves and huggles happened there, especially with her three amazing Labs!

When we finally returned home Zexy, my sister, and I were just about to sit down to the movie 300 (which I still haven't seen yet) when my aunt and cousins come over. They knew that my parents would be gone and brought me cake and presents! They had to leave shortly after that but their well-wishes were felt! Not long after they left my Nana came to stay the weekend with us so we wouldn't be lonely. Then as if I'm not feeling loved enough already my neighbor and good friend Becca-boo comes over bearing, yet another cake, flowers, and a present!

We ended up eating a LOT of cake and pizza, and playing Wii and watching Mama Mia. Zexy and Becca are coming back over tomorrow to watch 300. Not only did my Umpee-Grandfather- call to give me well wishes, but the icing on the cake, the cherry-topping, drum-roll please.....

My bio-dad just called! He works for the U.S. gov. taking pictures in Columbia so I never get to see him. I sent him an e-mail over a month ago and was starting to think that I'd never get a reply, when he CALLS! Turns out he hadn't forgotten about me but was on a job and couldn't access his e-mail! he also left me with a cell-number so I can reach him anytime!!!! When I got off the phone I was so happy I actually cried. I love my father SOoooooo much! He may not always pay child-support on time and my Mom is always complaining about his unstable work that keeps him out of the country and away from us, but... I know he's doing what he really loves. He can't wait to go to work! He's my role model and the reason I'm determined to do comics! Even if people criticize my work or tell me I need to look into a "real" future career, I won't quit.

I'm now way beyond Justin's Cloud 10!( will understand this reference) Try Cloud 10,000, surrounded by mountains of birthday cake and love! So in closing:It's good to be alive, my fellow human beings, it's good to be alive!

P.S.- To the two dearly patient people who are to receive commissions from me: Thank you for your patience! I have had several tedious projects pop up at school. All of which are worth several test grades.... As soon as I am done with these I will finish your pictures.
